Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs
Appointed Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in January 2014, serving until February 2015.

State Minister for Presidential Affairs
Appointed State Minister for Presidential Affairs in February 2015, serving until March 2017.
- 2022
Named to lead NISA
The Cabinet nominates him in May 2022 to become Director General of the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA). He leads the agency until 2024.
- 2023
National Intelligence and Security Law
Parliament passes the National Intelligence and Security Law during his tenure, the legal framework governing the agency.
- 2025
Reappointed Director General
Cabinet approves his return to lead NISA, taking office on 1 June 2025.
